Multi-Bandpass Filters

G32503Multi-Bandpass Filters

G32503 is a multi-region spectral filter. The reference spectrum shows multiple high-transmission regions at approximately 490-507 nm; 762-772 nm. Light from these bands passes through the same optic. Check every band against your light source and detector. To measure the bands separately, use alternating light sources or separate detection paths.

  • Product family: Multi-Bandpass Filters
  • Measured wavelength range: 380–780 nm
  • Published response: Transmittance

Measured interval is not the passband. Values shown are sample measurements. Final specifications are agreed for your order.

Measured wavelength range

380-780 nm. Performance outside this measured interval is not established by this curve.

Main band at half-peak transmission

Approximately 481.7-515.6 nm, giving a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of approximately 33.9 nm. This describes the main band only; other transmitted regions may remain.

Selected regions at or above 80% transmission

490-507 nm; 762-772 nm. Approximate measured intervals.

Selected regions at or below 5% transmission

557-712 nm. Measured sample intervals; confirm the required blocking for your order.

Peak transmission

Approximately 93.9% at 498 nm. Peak wavelength is not the same as a defined centre wavelength.

Measured edge at 50% transmission

Approximately 482.4 nm. Interpolated absolute-transmission crossing, checked against the factory summary.

Measured edge at 50% transmission

Approximately 514.8 nm. Interpolated absolute-transmission crossing, checked against the factory summary.

These values come from the measured samples and help you choose a starting design. We will agree the final specification for your order. Custom versions have their own specifications and measured curves.

OPERATING CONDITIONS

Match the complete optical system.

Match the full source band.

Compare the source emission spectrum with the filter curve. Include the source bandwidth, rather than relying on the nominal wavelength alone.

Check unwanted response.

Compare the complete measured response with your detector sensitivity. Confirm any additional blocking needed for your system.

Define the incidence conditions.

Specify the working angle and whether the beam is collimated or converging. Confirm the required response under those conditions.

Confirm the physical fit.

Provide the available mounting space, required shape, dimensions and thickness. Physical specifications will be confirmed for your assembly.

APPLICATIONS

Where this profile can help.

Medical & Microscopy

Optical components for illumination and instrument development.

Research & Instrumentation

Spectral selection, beam paths and measurement systems.

Industrial & Machine Vision

Inspection, detection, sorting and image contrast.

Application examples are starting points for evaluation; suitability depends on the complete optical system.
