IR Cut-off Filters

IR-CUT-615 NIR Cut-off Filter

IR-CUT-615 N transmits visible light over the measured 450–600 nm region and attenuates the 685–900 nm near-infrared band. Its transmission rises again at longer wavelengths, so the complete source and detector spectra should be checked before selection.

  • Product family: IR Cut-off Filters
  • Measured wavelength range: 300–1200 nm
  • Measured response: Transmittance (T%)

The curve represents one measured sample. Values outside the stated intervals and final order specifications require confirmation.

OPTICAL PERFORMANCE · IR-CUT-615 N

Read the numbers.
Understand the response.

Visible transmission, 450–600 nm

92.195% average T. Mean of the measured sample points across this interval.

Near-IR transmission, 685–900 nm

0.118% average T. This result applies to the stated interval; it does not establish blocking beyond 900 nm.

Measured 50% edge

Approximately 618 nm. Derived from the sample curve.

APPLICATIONS

Where this profile can help.

Visible-light imaging

Evaluate for cameras whose useful signal falls in the visible band and whose unwanted infrared is within the measured 685–900 nm blocking interval.

Machine vision

Compare the illumination and sensor response with the full curve, especially if the detector remains sensitive above 900 nm.
